| Location and Charges |
We perform ceremonies in the Dorchester, Charleston, Berkeley and Colleton County
areas of South Carolina, and with enough notice, other areas of South Carolina. You
choose the location. It could be in a park, at the beach, in your backyard, in your Aunt's
living room, in a hospital, at your Grandmother's house, the place that you met, in a
bowling alley or in a restaurant. As long as we have permission from the owner of the
establishment or a permit for the public places, you can be married there.
If you don't have a particular location, we can perform the ceremony in my office with very
short notice. Rates start at $75.00 for an in-office brief ceremony and from $150.00 for
most locations you choose, for the officiant. There will be a fuel-surcharge for wedding
more than 10 miles from my home. Example: Moncks Corner, Mt. Pleasant ,Downtown
Charleston or Folly Beach, $20.00 extra. Summerville, North Charleston or Goose Creek
no extra charge. To have the officiant at a rehearsal will be one-half the ceremony charge.

Inexpensive Photography
My son and I will do your wedding photographs with a digital camera and save them all to
a cd for you to have printed for $150.00 up to 2 hours of photography time and an
average of 50 photos. My last wedding had 115 photos and it was the same charge.
We are not professional photographers though so if it is in your budget, you many want
to hire a professional photographer. Samples of photos we have taken are on my Photos

Locations and Costs for the Location
Summerville Azalea Park charges $350 to use the gazebo and park for 1 1/2 hours.
You cannot set up chairs or any structures. To reserve your day and time, you must fill
out an application with the Town of Summerville and pay the fee. They do not give
refunds for any reason. Their telephone number is 871-6000.
Angel Oak Tree, White Point Gardens (the Battery), Waterfront Park, Hampton
Park, and Washington Square all require an application to be filled out. They will tell
you after the application review what the fee would be. Fees range from $90-$500. You
can call them at 724-7327. You should allow one month between application and the
wedding, at a minimum, the sooner the better to reserve your date and time.
Another interesting choice some people are making for their wedding and reception
location is the S.C. Aquarium in Charleston. Their basic charge is from $2700-4000 for
from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and includes rental of the whole aquarium. Catering and
other services are additional. They can easily handle up to 500 people. Their website

Middleton Place Plantation and Inn is another good choice for weddings.
